Snails often don’t seem to be moving at all, but they simply do not quit and that persistence inevitably gets them where they need to go.

Give a snail to a friend facing a challenge, or keep one yourself as a reminder that like the snail with his house on his back, you have everything you need to succeed, and if only you stay headed in the right direction you WILL reach your goal.

When I was eight I discovered a poem titled ‘Don’t Quit’ on a scrap of newspaper hidden in one of the pigeon holes of an old desk handed down to me from my great-grandmother Henrietta.

It felt like a secret message sent to me from my grandmother. It was the first poem I ever memorized (I’ll recite it if you ask nicely...) and it was the inspiration for our Snails.
